Man Claims He Was Attacked By Oompa Loompas

Two men dressed as Oompa-Loompas from the film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory are being hunted by police after they allegedly attacked a man on a night out.
The pair – who had painted orange faces and dyed green hair and were wearing hooped tops like the characters in the 1971 musical film – are said to have attacked a 28-year-old man as he left a kebab shop in the Prince of Wales Road nightclub area of Norwich, Norfolk.
Norfolk Police said the man was left with cuts to his face, nose and lip, as well as two black eyes, after being confronted by the fictional factory workers at around 3.20am on Thursday.

The two Oompa-Loompas were with another man and a woman with dark hair who had a dress split at the side.

But a Norfolk Police spokesman said it was believed that only the Oompa-Loompas took part in the attack.
The victim was initially pushed to the pavement by one of the fancy dress characters from the films, adapted from the 1964 Roald Dahl children’s book.
