Where's PETA on the Ray Lewis Deer Antler Controversy?
Seems like the only way the Ray Lewis banned substance story is going to get any real traction is if we attack it on all fronts.
According to a report in Sports Illustrated, Lewis contacted a company to obtain a "a deer-antler velvet extract after tearing his triceps in October."
Isn't it time PETA got involved in this? I mean, DEER ANTLERS? That's GOT to be a violation of some kind. Imagine if word gets out that deer antler extract is an effective substance to heal from sports-related injuries... There could be a run on the stuff.
Even animal rights activists stumble and sprain their ankles when a strap on their Birkenstocks snap. A little deer antler extract might get those hippies back on their feet and ready to throw red paint on a super model in a fur coat in no time!
