GOP presidential candidate and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee met with Israel’s Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu in Jerusalem.

Huckabee made headlines after he stood firm against the Obama Administration’s Iran Deal, arguing it would be harmful for America’s allies – especially Israel.

Huckabee has been to Israel dozens of times. In fact, Huckabee’s first trip to Israel occurred when he was just 14 years old and has been friends with Netanyahu for many years.

Although Huckabee and Netanyahu are friends, his visit to Israel is a continuation of his campaign as the next president will need to work closely with Americas close ally, Israel.

Senior Communications Advisor Hogan Gidley told Breitbart News, “Since announcing for President, he’s the only officially announced candidate to journey to Israel and meet with the Prime Minster.”
