Three New Ads Hit Michelle Nunn in Georgia Senate Race

Three New Ads Hit Michelle Nunn in Georgia Senate Race

The Ending Spending Action Fund has upped the ante in Georgia with a new $1.3 million ad buy, hitting Democrat Michelle Nunn across three fronts: her deference to an ever more unpopular Obama;  Nunn’s ultimately embarrassing attempt to use former President George H.W. Bush in a PR stunt; and Congressman Jack Kingston’s endorsement of Nunn’s opponent, Republican David Perdue.

This latest ad buy is in addition to the PAC’s two million dollar ad buy in Georgia just ten days ago.

Based upon a release from the conservative PAC, Defer highlights “Michelle Nunn’s record of deferring to President Obama on key issues.

The next ad, “Endorse” has his primary challenger Congressman Jack Kingston’s endorsing David Perdue.

The third ad is entitled “Picture.” It’s a radio ad based upon Michelle Nunn’s use of President George H.W. Bush’s photo in a campaign ad. The former President’s office slammed Nunn for the move, suggesting it was misleading. She subsequently ignored a request to pull the ad.
