Three government ministers have met with the Soros-funded group Best for Britain, which is taking foreign money to fight to overturn the Brexit referendum, reports claim.
The anti-Brexit members of the government held a series of talks with the group as it attempts to push them and MPs to oppose Prime Minister Theresa May and her stated aim for the UK to leave the European Union (EU), The Telegraph reports.
The group has accepted hundreds of thousands of pounds from billionaire speculator George Soros, who campaigns for open borders and globalist integration, raising concerns about foreign interference in British politics.
One former minister who has met with the group, Dr Philip Lee, quit his government job Tuesday and demanded a second referendum, in line with the aims of Best for Britain.
Tory sources claim there are five more ministers ready to resign from their jobs, piling pressure on the Prime Minister and possibly undermining her position just as key Brexit legislation passes through the House of Commons.

Eloise Todd, the chief executive of Best for Britain, praised Dr Lee’s actions, urging others to follow. Talking to The Telegraph, she did not deny speaking with and working to influence ministers.
“We have been speaking both to Government ministers and opposition MPs to make our case and lobby them on Brexit,” she said.
“We believe this is the wrong step for Britain and we are working tirelessly to make sure that we have a people’s vote at the end of the process.
“Tory MPs hold the key. Our message to them is clear – listen to your constituents and vote against the Government.”

The group says it has had contact with Foreign Office minister Alistair Burt, the business minister Richard Harrington, the Northern Ireland minister Shailesh Vara, and Rachel Maclean, a Parliamentary private secretary to Home Secretary Sajid Javid.
Mr Harrington and Ms Maclean denied this, however.
Best for Britain are alleged to be coordinating with many of the UK’s anti-Brexit forces, including the New European newspaper, Conservative Lord Ros Altmann, investor and activist Gina Miller, and Labour’s Lord Adonis, via an email list.
It is also claimed they are training activists to launch “ruthless” attacks on MPs in battleground marginal seats, including encouraging negative stories about them to be circulated in the press.
