WASHINGTON, Nov. 11 (UPI) — Hundreds of youth traveled to the nation’s capital to speak up for causes of racial equality, climate justice and immigration reform.
Organizers dubbed the rally “Our Generation, Our Choice” to signify the youth’s importance in the upcoming 2016 presidential election.
Four youth-led organizations attended the event: 350.org, Million Hoodies Movement for Justice, Fossil Fuel Divestment Student Network, and United We Dream.
