A British soldier has gone missing in the French ski resort of Les Deux Alpes, police said Thursday, adding that helicopter searches had been launched and would continue.
Simon Daw, 27, was last seen on Tuesday when he spent the evening in a nightclub with two friends. He had drunk some alcohol but not an excessive amount, a police source said.
He did not return to his lodgings in the nearby village of Venosc.
