Pellegrini named Manchester City coach – club

Manuel Pellegrini has been appointed coach of Manchester City, the English Premier League said on Friday.

“@MCFC are delighted to announce Manuel Pellegrini as the Club’s new manager,” the club announced on Twitter.

A statement on the club’s website mcfc.co.uk added that the Chilean had joined on a three-year contract and would take up his role from June 24.
