LOS ANGELES, May 7 (UPI) — Former Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps posted on Instagram Saturday the first photo of his newborn son.
“Welcome Boomer Robert Phelps into the world!!! Born 5-5-2016 at 7:21 pm !!! Healthy and happy!!! Best feeling I have ever felt in my life!!! @nicole.m.johnson and Boomer both healthy!!!” Phelps captioned his black and white family photo.
The picture shows Phelps bare-chested and cradling his baby boy, who is wearing a tiny, knit cap.
Phelps’ longtime fiancée, model Nicole Johnson, can be seen watching them from her hospital bed with a smile on her face.
