Minnesota Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater goes down with “serious” knee injury

MINNEAPOLIS, Aug. 30 (UPI) — With only 12 days between now and its season opener, the Minnesota Vikings are in trouble.

The 2015 NFC North champions watched quarterback Teddy Bridgewater go down to a non-contact knee injury Tuesday, according to multiple reports.

“The Vikings just called off practice after 25 minutes, when Teddy Bridgewater went down on a non-contact play. Trainers immediately rushed to Bridgewater’s side, while players dropped to one knee in prayer,” ESPN’s Ben Goessling reported.
