CLEVELAND, Sept. 17 (UPI) — Four-time first-team All-Pro selection Darrelle Revis is starting to look human.

With millions of viewers watching all of the New York Jets cornerback’s performances, it’s not easy to hide from criticism.

After he was burnt early in the Jets Week 2 win against the Buffalo Bills, Revis was even taking shots from the NBA. He was also torched in Week 1 by Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green.

“Damn #Revisisland turning into a tourist resort… #JustSaying,” Cleveland Cavaliers guard J.R. Smith tweeted Thursday.

“@TheRealJRSmith still heading to Canton though. What about you,” Revis asked Smith on Twitter Friday.

“We both won ships,” Revis later tweeted. “We both will go down in the history books. Just think its funny him saying that especially after we’ve crossed paths.”

Smith is currently a free agent but is in contract negotiations with the Cavaliers.

“You right congrats! Just thought I would throw gas on the fire. Tired of people saying you losing it. #HOF,” Smith tweeted.

“Don’t be sensitive…Be better…Respect that someone got you an let that feeling remind you to not let it happen again.#ProToPro @Revis24,” Smith added.

The Cavaliers won its championship in June, while Revis won his Super Bowl with the 2014 New England Patriots.

Revis, 31, signed a five-year, $70 million contract last year with the Jets. Last month the seven-time Pro Bowl selection told the Boomer and Carton Show that he could change his position to safety.

“There will probably be conversations in the future about maybe moving my position to safety,” Revis said on the Boomer and Carton Show in August. “But as of right now, I still feel I can play at a high level, and play the cornerback position at a high level.”
