LOS ANGELES, June 9 (UPI) — The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 released a first trailer Tuesday.
The preview sees Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), Gale Hawthorne (Liam Hemsworth) and Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) take a final stand against President Snow (Donald Sutherland).
“We all have one enemy!” Katniss declares of the tyrannical leader in the trailer. “He corrupts everyone and everything. He turns the best of us against each other. Tonight, turn your weapons to the Capitol.”
Mockingjay – Part 2 is based on the Suzanne Collins book Mockingjay, and the final film in The Hunger Games series. The movie opens in theaters Nov. 20, and co-stars Julianne Moore, Woody Harrelson and Elizabeth Banks.
The Hunger Games film adaptations have earned over $2 billion since the first movie premiered in 2012. Lawrence shared a photo from the film last week on Facebook, and is also scheduled to reprise Mystique in X-Men: Apocalypse.
