WAM Brussels, Jan 22nd, 2013 (WAM) — UAE Ambassador to Belgium and European Union, Sulaiman Hamid Al Mazroui attended the annual reception hosted by Kris Peeters Minister-president of the Flemish Government and Flemish Minister for Economy, Foreign Policy, Agriculture and Rural Policy on the occasion of the new year.
Kris Peeters affirmed the importance of enhancing external relations with the world, stressing that 2013 will be the year of trust as the Flemish region maintained its exports despite the global crisis. He also underscored the role of diplomats in developing relations and boosting them with the representative countries.
The reception was attended by a large number of ambassadors accredited to the country.
