LOS ANGELES, May 17 (UPI) — Fox released a first Prison Break revival trailer on Monday.

The preview sees Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) discover Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) is alive but imprisoned and plan a final escape with his half-brother. Sarah Wayne Callies also appears as Michael’s wife, Sara Tancredi.

Amaury Nolasco returns as Fernando Sucre, with Robert Knepper as Theodore “T-Bag” Bagwell, Rockmond Dunbar as Benjamin Miles “C-Note” Franklin and Paul Adelstein as Paul Kellerman. Prison Break creator Paul Scheuring will serve as showrunner.

Season 5 will air as a nine-episode limited event slated to premiere in early 2017. The series originally had a four-season run from 2005 to 2009 and was followed by the television movie Prison Break: The Final Break.

Michael Scofield appeared to die in The Final Break, and it is unknown if the revival will address the character’s brain tumor. Fox Television Group chairman Gary Newman previously told reporters Scheuring came up “with a great twist” to explain Michael living.
