Zac Efron gets splashed in game of Water War on ‘Tonight’

NEW YORK, May 19 (UPI) — Zac Efron and Jimmy Fallon donned wigs of the Neighbors 2 actor’s 8th grade crimped hairstyle for a wet game of Water War.

Efron appeared on The Tonight Show Thursday night to discuss his career and face off with Fallon in the water-powered game.

A messier version of the classic card game War, in Water War, each player holds half a deck and players flip the top card from their decks at the same time. The player with the higher card gets to throw a glass of water at his opponent. The first player to throw five glasses at his opponent wins the right to shoot him with a water cannon.

Fallon was the first to throw the water at Efron, who then took off his wig. The host kept his on to take his glass-to-the-face after the We Are Your Friends actor said, “This seems so disrespectful, I’ve never done it.”

“OK it is satisfying,” Efron joked.

The game ended with Fallon rising victorious to shoot his guest several times with a toy water cannon after successfully throwing his five glasses at the actor.
