WATCH: The Most Ridiculous Play You’ll Ever See Happened Last Night Between LA Tech and Mississippi State

A loose ball bouncing like a greased pig became the focus of one of the most bizarre college football plays ever seen, as Louisiana Tech faced Mississippi at Joe Aillet Stadium on Saturday.

A wild snap at the Aggies’ 6-yard line which sailed past LA Tech quarterback J’Mar Smith set the stage for a crazed scramble for the loose ball as players lunged and accidentally kicked the pigskin for a loss of almost 90 yards.

The ball rolled, bounced, and was kicked as one player after another raced to grab the elusive thing until Bulldogs receiver Cee Jay Powell finally stopped its 87-yard roll with a thudding lunge.

LA Tech ended up with their third-and-goal at their own 7-yard line.

Perhaps not surprisingly, the Bulldogs eventually lost the game 57-21.
