YouTube Censors Video of Trump Coronavirus Adviser for Contradicting W.H.O.

Big Tech platforms continue to censor conservatives for offering commentary on the Chinese coronavirus. The latest victim is the Hoover Institution, the Stanford University-based conservative think tank, which posted a video to YouTube of an interview with Hoover Senior Fellow Dr. Scott Atlas, who is now serving as an adviser to President Donald Trump on the coronavirus task force. The Google-owned platform censored the video as it “contradicts the World Health Organization or local health authorities’ medical information about COVID-19.”

Bokhari: Big Tech Can ‘Turn Down the Volume’ on Entire Movements

Breitbart Tech reporter Allum Bokhari, author of an upcoming book exposing Silicon Valley called #DELETED: Big Tech’s Battle to Erase the Trump Movement and Steal The Election, appeared on the Brian Thomas Show on 55KRC, warning listeners that Big Tech currently has the ability to “turn down the volume” on entire political movements without anyone realizing.

Wired Lays Out the Case to Regulate Google’s Ad Market

In a recent article, Wired questions whether Google’s advertising market should be regulated in a similar way to the stock market as the company continues to dominate the billion-dollar online advertising industry. As explained by one industry expert, “Google both runs the largest exchange and competes as the biggest buyer and seller on that exchange. On top of that, it also owns YouTube, one of the biggest suppliers of ad inventory, meaning it competes against publishers on its own platform. And yet there are no laws governing any of it.

Yelp CEO: When Google Competes on a Level Playing Field, It Loses

The CEO of the popular restaurant review app Yelp, Jeremy Stoppelman, appeared on a podcast recently to discuss the growing monopoly power of the Big Tech Masters of the Universe.  According to Stoppelman, Google doesn’t like to compete on a level playing field because, “when they tried to, they were losing.”

MarketWatch: Video Games Could Be Apple and Google’s Antitrust ‘Achilles Heel’

In a recent article, MarketWatch questions whether video games could actually be Google and Apple’s weakness in antitrust cases. One venture capitalist commented, “These closed gardens feel like extortion. You need to pay to survive. It harkens to Microsoft and the Department of Justice investigation, and AT&T before that. With Apple and Google, it comes down to what is the ‘right’ take for the platforms? Thirty percent? 10%?”

‘Fortnite’ Developer Epic Games Scores Partial Victory Against Apple

Epic Games’ lawsuit against Apple is now well underway with the game developer scoring a partial win in the first ruling on the case. The court granted the developer a temporary restraining order against Apple following the tech giant’s threat to remove Epic’s Unreal Engine from multiple Apple platforms — an act of retaliation against the Fortnite company that would have impacted thousands of developers working on their own games and entertainment projects.

‘Fortnite’ Maker Sues Apple After Game Banned from App Store

Epic Games, the company behind the massively popular game Fortnite, filed a lawsuit against Apple on Thursday after the Silicon Valley giant removed the game from its App Store, preventing players from accessing the games on iPhone and iPad devices. Epic released an ad after the banning which claims: “Epic Games has defied the App Store Monopoly. In retaliation, Apple is blocking Fortnite from a billion devices. Join the fight to stop 2020 from becoming ‘1984’”

Google Claims ‘Glitch’ Disrupted Search Results Globally

Tech giant Google’s flagship product, Google Search, claims a major ‘glitch” has disrupted search results. Users around the world reported bizarre results to searches, such as a concentration of links to major e-commerce companies like Amazon and wildly inaccurate responses to requests for recipes.  It is currently believed that the issue has been fixed but Google has yet to release the full details of the supposed error.
