WH Gives No Reason For Skipping Drone Hearing, Lauds 'Unprecedented' Transparency

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney could give the press pool no reason why the Administration failed to provide a witness to a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing over drones on Wednesday. Carney then declared that the “highest levels” of the Administrations have given “unprecedented” transparency over all policy decisions. When asked about Democrat Senator Dick Durbin expressing his disappointment, Carney did not respond but said that transparency isn’t “limited” to a single hearing.
