Paul: Syria 'Unnecessary War'

Senator Rand Paul delivered a five minute response to President Obama’s speech on Tuesday night critiquing the President’s policies and vagueness of purpose. Paul argued that an attack on Syria has an “equal” likelihood of having negative effects on the peace process and on Assad’s aggressiveness. Paul said that the President had failed to outline any U.S. interests in the region and that attack Syria would lead to an “unnecessary war.”
