Brooks: Trump’s Reaction to Iowa ‘Unnerving,’ ‘Magnifies’ Concern About ‘Stability’ With Nukes

New York Times columnist David Brooks said Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s reaction to the results in the Iowa caucuses was “unnerving” and magnified “any doubts about his stability … with the nuclear trigger” on Friday’s PBS’s “NewsHour.”

Brooks stated, “He’s magnifying, I think, his weaknesses. Some of the things he said and some of the things he’s tweeted, saying I actually would have won Iowa, but Cruz cheated, that’s not — that’s unnerving. That’s not the way you react to a defeat. And so I think if people had any doubts about his stability, as Lisa said, with the nuclear trigger, [this] sort of magnifies it.”
