An Illinois-based pro-life group has started an arresting campaign to get the attention of abortionists.
Eric Scheidler of Pro-Life Action League sent a package to every abortion clinic in the country that includes a pair of handcuffs, a photo of a recently arrested abortionist, and a note: “Could you be next? If you want to get out of the abortion business, give me a call.”
The photo is of Naresh Patel, an Oklahoma abortionist who was arrested last month at his abortion clinic and charged with telling women they were pregnant when they weren’t in order to sell them abortion drugs.
According to Scheidler’s website, “Patel first came to public notice in 1992 when he was investigated for burning the bodies of 55 aborted babies in a field…” In the current situation, Patel has been charged with fraud and racketeering.
Scheidler describes three goals for the campaign: to encourage authorities to make further arrests for similar crimes, to encourage abortionists to quit the trade, and to educate the public about “the dark side of the abortion industry.”
Scheidler says he’s already received three calls from recipients of the package. No conversions just yet.
