Joe Biden Gets Handsy With The Wife Of The Secretary of Defense

Vice President Joe Biden, famous for being “super friendly” during formal events, placed his hands awkwardly on Stephanie Carter, the wife of the new Secretary of Defense Ash Carter.

After taking the oath of office, Carter took the podium for a speech. As Carter began speaking, Biden beckoned the Secretary’s wife over to him and stood behind her while placing both of his hands on her shoulders for a full 25 seconds before he whispered in her ear.

Just before Carter began introducing his wife, Biden quickly removed his hands from her shoulders and folded them behind his back.
