More Republicans are “absolutely certain” they will vote in the 2018 midterm elections than Democrats, according to a Public Religion Research Institute (PRRI) survey released on Tuesday.

Though the legacy media and left-wing activists have been salivating over the so-called “blue wave” and the left’s supposed enthusiasm advantage, the PRRI survey found that 59% of Republicans are “absolutely certain” to vote in November compared to 56% of Democrats.

In addition, despite the media doing their best to hype up the “youth vote” and keep the Parkland gun-control activists relevant, the PRRI survey found that “only 28% of young adults say they are absolutely certain they will vote in the 2018 election compared to 74% of seniors.”

There are some numbers, though, that should also concern Republicans. For instance, a slight majority (53%) of registered voters said “that they would vote for the Democratic candidate in their election district if the election were held today” while 75% of voters “living in communities that supported [Hillary] Clinton in the 2016 election believe their community is likely to back the Democratic candidate this fall” compared to 64% of voters living in communities that voted for Trump who said their community is likely to support the GOP Congressional candidate.

The study, released on Tuesday, was conducted June 6-18 and has a margin of error of +/- 3.3 percentage points.
