Bill Nye: Keep Creationism Away from School Kids

Bill Nye thinks Creationism is hardly kid stuff.

Nye, affectionately known as Bill Nye the Science Guy, is featured in a new Internet video attacking those who wish to teach Creationism in the classroom.

“Evolution is the fundamental idea in all of life science, in all of biology,” the video description reads. “According to Bill Nye … if grownups want to ‘deny evolution and live in your world that’s completely inconsistent with everything we observe in the universe, that’s fine, but don’t make your kids do it because we need them.'”

Nye says that having a “scientifically literate” voting and tax-paying populace will prove integral in the continuation of American development and engineering.
