Robert Davi to Sings Sinatra in Free New York Concert Friday

Robert Davi is prepping for his latest role in Expendables 3, but he’ll spend part of his weekend bringing the Frank Sinatra songbook to New Yorkers free of charge.

The singer/actor’s Davi Sings Sinatra event will be held at 7 p.m. Friday Aug. 30 at Eisenhower Park’s Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre in East Meadow, NY. Comedian Mike Marino will warm up the crowd as the opening act.

The Lakeside Theatre has no formal seating, so concert goers can bring folding chairs or blankets to better appreciate the show.

Davi’s screen resume includes performances in Die Hard, The Goonies and this year’s mob drama The Iceman, but in recent years he’s reclaimed his musical gifts through a critically hailed embrace of Sinatra classic ballads.
