Kristin Cavallari understands the controversial nature of not vaccinating one’s child for fear it could lead to autism.
The Laguna Beach star divulged how she decided against vaccinating her children all the same during an interview with Fox News.
There is a pediatric group called Homestead, or shoot, Homestead or Home First, now I’m pregnancy brain I gotta confuse them,but they’ve never vaccinated any of their children and they’ve never had one case of autism. And now, one in 88 boys is autistic which is a really scary statistic,” Cavallari said.
Former Playboy Playmate Jenny McCarthy generated plenty of controversy for sharing similar views, claiming her son’s autism may have been caused by a vaccination.
Many established medical bodies, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, say no connection exists between autism and vaccinating one’s child.
