Trevor Noah, Jon Stewart’s already embattled replacement as host of the left-wing Daily Show, used his verified Twitter account to respond the firestorm over a series of his older tweets that mocked Jews, Asians, women, and gays. The tweet read, “Twitter does not have enough characters to respond to all the characters on Twitter.”

Without an explanation or note, per The Wrap, Noah later deleted the tweet.
