Watch: ‘Roseanne’ Revival Trailer Cracks 33 Million Views

Fans are excited about the return of Roseanne, having viewed the teaser trailer for ABC’s upcoming reboot of the popular 90s sitcom more than 33 million times.

Millions of admirers of the blue-collar, hit TV show starring Roseanne Barr and John Goodman have watched the three-minute video clip on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter since it was released on May 16.

“The laugh is back. #Roseanne returns to ABC in 2018,”  reads the Facebook video post, which has received over 31 million views.

ABC announced the return of the highly-rated sitcom earlier this year, a full two decades after it went off the air, Fans can expect an eight-episode limited series revival featuring appearances from the original cast, including Barr, Goodman, Sara Gilbert, and other key cast members reprising their roles.

After its 1988 debut, Roseanne quickly became a Golden Globe and Emmy-winning cult classic. The show ended its nine-season run in 1997.

Original executive producers Tom Werner, Barr, and Bruce Helford are reportedly backing the project.

The Roseanne revival comes after ABC recently cancelled another hit sitcom about a conservative family, the Tim Allen-starring Last Man Standing.
