Police Called To Domestic Dispute Over Boyfriend Passing Gas

CLAWSON (WWJ) – Responding to a 911 call for a possible domestic violence situation, police arrived at a Maple Road apartment complex to discover that what neighbors described as sounding like a “violent altercation,” was in fact, a very loud plea from a woman to her boyfriend to stop passing gas.

According to Clawson Police Chief Harry Anderson: “One of the neighbors had heard somebody yelling – a female yelling….she was possibly being hit – yelling, ‘Stop! No!'”

The neighbor apparently also heard a “repeated loud noise” in between the shouting.

When officers arrived on the scene, Anderson said “The female that was inside stated that her boyfriend had continued to pass gas, and she was yelling at him to stop.”

Nobody was charged in the case although this is a very sobering reminder of the daily dangers our men and women in blue face every day.
