WILMINGTON , N.C. (WECT) – Police have arrested a man in Wilmington after he allegedly beat a car with his bare hands because he thought the devil was inside. At around 6 a.m Thursday, officers responding to a report of a suspicious person and a possible breaking and entering, found an impaired man with bloody knuckles. The suspect, Adam Love, allegedly told police that he was beating the car because Satan was inside. He was subsequently charged with breaking and entering as well as property damage.
Strangely enough, the police searched the car thoroughly, where they did in fact find Satan.
