WESTERN AUSTRALIA – “It was at about 7 p.m. I was heading down to Freeway South and all the traffic just stopped,” a witness said. “It was like the movie ‘World War Z,’ where the zombies just run into cars. He was exactly like that and I thought ‘Oh sh*t, it’s the zombie apocalypse.'”
The incident occurred during rush hour on Monday on a freeway in Perth when a man crashed into an unoccupied Volkswagen parked in the emergency lane. He then jumped out of his car and began headbutting other vehicles. The bizarre events were captured on video by other motorists.
Police apprehended the man and he was taken to a local hospital for observation. Police told WAToday that the man does have a history of mental health problems.
