KKK Group Recruits in Predominantly Black Neighborhood

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Florida – A Ku Klux Klan group apparently did not do its research or it has completely revamped its message. The group passed out recruiting fliers in a predominantly black neighborhood in New Smyrna Beach earlier this week.

The flier reads, “Our race is our nation,” and shows a man dressed in the distinctive KKK robe and hood.

Officials say the fliers originated form a chapter in North Carolina and were sent to Florida in an effort to recruit new members.

Robert Jones, from the loyal white knights of the KKK, told local news that the mix up occurred because the fliers were passed out at night so his group had no way of knowing the neighborhood was predominantly black. He said and I quote “Well, we don’t have no way of judging where we put the fliers at.”

Thus far, no new members have been recruited from that area.

Jones is also a professor of English at an exclusive North Eastern University.
