Rich Candidates Almost Always Win Their Races

In response to Do Rich Candidates Usually Win?:

Rich candidates always win, if and when they decide to cough up some of that dinero they have made over the years.

It takes a lot of money to win federal races.

But one thing to consider about self-funding candidates is this, mostof them have no clue about politics, and rely on handlers andconsultants to be their voices on the campaign trail.

More times than not, these consultants make or break campaigns, regardless of whether the candidate has self-funded.

Andif there is some sort of snafu that occurs, self-funders can just throwsome more money at the problem. This is the way politics work.

But again, money talks and wins elections.
