Food Truck For Dogs Opens in San Francisco, Will Tour Country This Summer

Milo’s Kitchen Treat Truck, a food truck serving meaty treats for dogs, will roll through San Francisco for its opening day launch this week.

The truck will serve up free samples of chicken meatballs and grilled “burger bites” to lucky dogs in San Francisco’s Marina Green Park from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, according to San Francisco Chronicle website SFgate.com. On Saturday, the truck will set up shop at an East Bay dog park. From there, the truck heads south to San Diego and will tour the country this summer.

In addition to meatballs and burgers, hungry dogs can also munch on chicken jerky strips, steak grillers, and beef sausage slices with rice. Owners can also take “doggie selfies” with their pets in the truck’s photo booth and hang out in the “Lapdog Lounge.”

“Our dogs share our lives,” says the company website. “Those first eager greetings in the morning. That last curl-up-and-cuddle at the end of the day. Our dogs aren’t just the four-legged members of our family. They’re family.”

Owners looking to treat their dogs can keep up with the truck’s progress on the company’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
