Thursday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” host Joe Scarborough criticized President Donald Trump over his planned border wall at the southern border, saying he is engaging in “political insanity.”
Scarborough called Trump a “political loser” who only wants to talk about the wall.
“[T]his is political insanity,” Scarborough argued. “I hate to keep repeating it, but this is the issue that led, and this is no hyperbole, to the largest vote total defeat in the 240-year history of these United States. This issue, that Donald Trump remains obsessed with, this issue led to a shutdown that saw his approval ratings and the Republican Party’s approval ratings plummet. And less than one in four Americans supported Donald Trump shutting down the government for his wall. This is a political loser and yet it’s all he wants to talk about.”
