TMZ: Bryan Singer Says He Has Proof to Dispute Sex Abuse Charges

The director at the heart of a sex abuse lawsuit that rocked Hollywood this week says he can prove his innocence by showing he wasn’t in Hawaii at the time of the crimes in question.

Bryan Singer, best known for directing three X-Men features, says he was prepping the first film in that franchise in Toronto when the plaintiff claims the director drugged and anally raped him twice while they both were in Hawaii 1999.

We’re told Singer will file credit card bills and various other documents proving he was in Toronto during the times in question.

The lawyer representing the plaintiff says the case represents one of several lawsuits to be filed in the weeks to come involving Hollywood-based sex abuse.
