Muslim Brotherhood Calls For Protests Against "Innocence of Muslims" on Friday

Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood is calling for citizens throughout Egypt to gather outside mosques on Friday and protest the film, “Innocence of Muslims.”

The protests are to be “peaceful,” yet they are to “denounce offences to religion and the Prophet.”

The Muslim Brotherhood’s political branch, the Freedom and Justice Party, describes the film as “a racist crime and a failed attempt to provoke sectarian strife between two elements of the [Egyptian] nation: Muslims and Christians.” But they also say the movie “goes far beyond all reasonable boundaries of the freedoms of opinion and expression.”

YouTube has already restricted the trailer for the film so that it cannot even be viewed in Egypt or Libya.
