Firefighters pull bricks to free cat trapped in chimney

NORTH LITTLETON, England, April 14 (UPI) — A British fire department pulled bricks from a home’s chimney to free a cat heard crying for help inside the structure.

The Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service posted photos to Facebook showing the cat peering out from a small hole in the North Littleton chimney Monday.

Firefighters removed more bricks until the hole was large enough to extract the feline.

“The thankful moggy was then left with the owner,” the post read.

The fire and rescue service later posted a video of the rescue to Facebook.
