Frankfurt am Main (AFP) – The German economy, Europe’s largest, grew 0.6 percent between October and December, federal statistics authority Destatis said Wednesday.

After growth of 0.9 percent in the first quarter, 0.6 percent in the second, and 0.7 percent in the third, expansion amounted to some 2.2 percent over the full year, the statisticians added, confirming a preliminary estimate released in January.
