The livestreamed special took place Wednesday at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles. It featured videos of Miller from his childhood, live performances and speeches given by the special guests.

Proceeds were given to Mac Miller Circles Fund, a charity which supports youth arts and community-building programs.

Action Bronson, Anderson.Paak, Dylan Reynolds, Domo Genesis, Earl Sweatshirt, J.I.D, Miguel, Njomza, ScHoolboy Q, SZA, Thundercat, Travis Scott, Ty Dolla $ign and Vince Staples were in attendance while Pusha T, Pharrell, Lil Wayne, A$AP Ferg and Tyler the Creator provided video tributes.

Mayer took the stage to perform a cover of Miller’s song “Small Worlds” that incorporated the rapper’s voice and lyrics.

Chance also performed and then gave a speech. “Mac, thank you for so many different things. Thank you for the music you made; thank you for the music that you provided other people with, for the opportunities that you provided me with, but overall, for the friendships that you built through your music and through your artistry,” he said.

Miller died at the age of 26 in September after a battle with substance abuse.
