Leading pro-Brexit MP to submit letter of no-confidence in British PM: spokesman

London (AFP) – Conservative MP Jacob Rees-Mogg, leader of the hardline pro-Brexit European Research Group of lawmakers, will request a vote of no-confidence in the British prime minister, the group’s spokesman told the Press Association news agency.

The ERG leader’s decision comes after a raucous session of parliament on Thursday in which Theresa May sought to defend her draft Brexit agreement despite trenchant opposition.
