April 7 (UPI) — The Serpent Queen and Emily in Paris actress Minnie Driver has signed on to star in a new Paramount+ heist thriller, The Day.
“New job. Clever scripts, sharp characters. I think you will like it,” Driver wrote on Instagram Monday, alongside a screenshot of a media story announcing her casting in the project.
Also included in the ensemble are Luca Pasqualino from Skins and Louisa Harland from Derry Girls.
The eight-part,perspective-shifting drama — based on the Belgian series, De Dag — is now in production.
