April 9 (UPI) — The classic romantic comedy, Jerry Maguire, is returning to cinemas this weekend in celebration of the 30th anniversary of its release.

“Looking forward to sharing it with you all again in theaters next week!” Cruise wrote on X Wednesday.

Directed by Cameron Crowe, the film will play on select screens starting Sunday.

It features Cruise as the title character, a sports agent who must rebuild his career after publicly announcing he and his colleagues were more concerned with money than the love of the game and should scale back their client lists so they could devote more time to each person.

The only person who believes in him is office secretary Dorothy (Renee Zellweger), a single mother who quits her job on the spot to go work with him at his new agency.

Cuba Gooding Jr. won a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his portrayal Rod Tidwell, the only client that stays with Jerry.

Kelly Preston, Regina King, Jonathan Lipnicki, Jay Mohr, Bonnie Hunt and Jerry O’Connell co-star.
