Trump campaigns for Dean Heller in Vegas

June 23 (UPI) — President Donald Trump went to Las Vegas on Saturday to help Nevada Republican Sen. Dean Heller with his campaign and fundraising as November election approaches.

Trump arrived in Vegas on Saturday morning for a busy day of meeting with his supporters, addressing the Nevada Republican Party Convention and then heading to a round-table discussion on his tax plan passed in December, CBS News reported.

“Country’s economy is stronger than ever before with numbers that are getting better by the week,” Trump tweeted before arriving in Nevada from Washington. “Tremendous potential, and trade deals are coming along well.”

Afterward, he posted “AMERICAN IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS.”

Heller is widely considered one of the most vulnerable Senate Republicans up for reelection with Hillary Clinton winning the state in 2016.
