‘World of Dance’ with Jennifer Lopez and Jenna Dewan renewed for Season 3

May 11 (UPI) — NBC has renewed World of Dance for a third season to air in 2019.

Dancer and actress Jenna Dewan hosts the series.

“Before you check out season 2 on May 29th, go ahead and mark your calendars for SEASON 3 baby!! #WorldofDance,” Dewan wrote in an Instagram post Thursday.

The message accompanied an image of her with the show’s judges — entertainer Jennifer Lopez, dancer Derek Hough and rapper Ne-Yo.

World of Dance gives artists the chance to compete for a grand prize of $1 million.

“We set out to make World of Dance a competition series of the highest caliber — every act that hits the stage gives their all and challenges themselves against the most elite athletes in the world,” Lopez said in a statement. “As an executive producer and judge, I’m constantly reminded of the heart and determination it takes to rise to the challenge and become the best of the best. I can’t wait to see the talent that comes across our stage for Season 3.”
