Secretary of State Project Rears Its Ugly Head in Missouri

We have already reported on the nefarious nature of the Secretary of State Project. Now we have evidence that the 3rd Congressional District of Missouri has been stolen. Every resource, every attorney, every one who cares one iota about the Constitution should be ready to fight!

Missouri’s centralized voter database has issues, but we saw this coming from a mile away. Now, with Secretary of State Robin Carnahan running against Roy Blunt for a Missouri Senate seat and her brother, Russ, experiencing a tight race against Ed Martin for Missouri’s 3rd Congressional District, one has to wonder whether the elections in Missouri has been above-board.

Robin Carnahan was sued by the Department of Justice for failing to maintain the voter rolls in Missouri. Carnahan’s response, backed up by Nanette Laughrey (the judge who rules in Robin’s favor every time), was that her office wasn’t responsible for maintaining voter rolls, and there was no problem anyway because there is “No Vote Fraud” in Missouri. As laughable as that is for a state known for selling Democratic votes for beer coupons, the truth is voter fraud registration has been a serious problem for over a decade in Missouri, and cases of vote fraud were swept under the rug. As for Robin, staffers in her office were identified using Sunshine requests as “very helpful” and “necessary” to ACORN affiliates suing the state. The lawsuit would eventually cost the state $450,000 for failing to comply with federal law in a separate case involving Project Vote and ACORN. Similar cases in other states were dismissed by competent Secretary of State officials working to stop the voter shakedown.

Voter fraud isn’t sexy to prosecute. Proving it is very difficult. The votes needed to overturn an election are never there. And most important, any career hopes a prosecutor has goes the way of the dodo when the Democrats and the media get ahold of the idea that you’re involved in “voter caging” or “voter intimidation.” Heck – this year the St Louis Tea Party Coalition fielded numerous calls from journalists both local and national basically asking if they intended to chase people down the street and demand their papers if they got near a poll!

Voter fraud is laughed away as being mere “voter registration fraud,” while attempts to clean the rolls are met with screams about disenfranchising the vote. Common sense voter ID laws are attacked by astroturfed Carnahan campaigns (Laura Egerdal ran the last one, then got a job as Carnahan’s SoS spokesperson) as attempts to prevent nuns from voting, while DoJ lawsuits are dropped by an Obama Justice Department because they aren’t politically correct.

And yet, it exists. And it is some of the worst kind.

And know, that here in Missouri, groups of Tea Party volunteers have uncovered the same problem in Jefferson County. Based on the efforts of volunteers, they can prove vote fraud occurred in assisted living facilities in Jefferson County in 2010. What they found was a system in place that illegally voted people who were not supposed to be registered. The Missouri Constitution forbids the voting franchise to individuals placed under guardianship for mental incompetence. The theory is that if you cannot be held liable for contracts or signatures, you cannot know what you are voting for.

But in Jefferson County, 31 individuals, of which we know some are not eligible to vote, are given voting privileges by the county and assisted in voting with no oversight. The volunteers debated long and hard over how and when to spill the information. This close to the election, the story would be a big bombshell. And it’s quite possible malice made some of these votes possible. We know ACORN and their allies in Missouri Pro-Vote were active in this area from 2002-2009. What was found, was a system badly in need of correction. What was not found was anyone hiding information or actively seeking to disrupt the process. We lack a villain.

What was discovered found is that the voter rolls just are not important enough to fix, and the expected votes are not worth scrutinizing. Vote fraud occurs in Missouri, no matter what the Carnahan family and cronies say to the contrary. Couple the large number of ineligible but active voters and a lack of oversight, the potential for fraud is very high. The failure of the internet connection to the state database is not just an unfortunately timed software failure, it is an excuse for delays and a recipe for a large number of provisional ballots to mysteriously appear once totals from other counties come in. And Russ Carnhan has the narrowest of leads.

In 2008, Al Franken was the recipient of ballots found in the trunk of a Democrat’s car. In 2010, voter roll failure combined with Secretary Carnahan’s failure could lead to yet another stolen election decided by judges afraid of “disenfranchising” voters.

Ed Martin has one of the closest races, if not THE closest, right now. Votes were withheld until the last minute in this race, and all is not kosher. He will not concede, but cannot fight voter fraud without your help. Do you want to contribute to conservative wave across this country?
