FBI Kill Man Interviewed in Boston Bombing

In Orlando on Wednesday, an FBI agent shot and killed Ibragim Todashev, a man who had been interviewed with regard to the Boston Marathon bombing. “We are currently responding to a shooting incident involving an FBI special agent,” explained FBI Special Agent Dave Couvertier to NBC News. “The incident occurred in Orlando, Florida. The agent encountered the suspect while conducting official duties. We do not have any further details at this time. We expect to have more information later this morning.”

Widespread reports during the initial Boston bombing investigation suggested that the perpetrators, Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, acted alone.
