At EMILY’s List Gala, Sen. Al Franken Apologizes ‘For Being A Guy’

“First of all, I apologize for being a guy,” Franken joked as he took the stage at the EMILY’s List 30th anniversary gala to introduce the organization’s president Stephanie Schriock.

Franken praised Schriock for making the organization’s membership six times bigger since she took over leadership of the organization six years ago with record fundraising for the pro-abortion political action committee.

“Admittedly she had some help from Todd Akin and Rush Limbaugh, countless other meatheads around the country, whose view of certain gender issues are somewhat at odds with ours,” Franken added.
