Baltimore Forms ‘War Room’ to Combat Violent Crime

Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake stood with the city’s top law enforcement officials Sunday to outline a crime-fighting plan.

The plan came after another violent weekend in the city in which three people were killed and 10 were hurt in shootings.

Among those who joined Rawlings-Blake on Sunday were Baltimore City State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby and interim Police Commissioner Kevin Davis, who took over Wednesday for the fired Anthony Batts.

“We are essentially declaring war on those individuals with no code of ethics, killing women and killing children,” Mosby said.
