Detroit police have arrested a woman in a sting after she allegedly tried to arrange sex with a man and his underage daughter.
Kristina Lynn Howarth, 38, thought she set up a meeting with a man and his daughter, but she actually chatted with an undercover detective in Detroit.
“During the course of several days, and through the use of the messaging application as well as through direct phone calls, the woman expressed a willingness to have sex with who she thought was a father and (underage) daughter,” explained officials at the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office. “On March 28th … Kristina Lynn Howarth showed up at a prearranged meeting where she was arrested.”
They charged her “with two counts of child sexually abusive activity and using a computer to commit a crime.” She could receive 20 years in prison for each charge.
She received a “$75,000 cash-or-surety bond and is scheduled to be back in court April 11.”
